The Pyramid Championship (hereinafter: Controller) is committed to protecting the personal data of its users. The purpose of this Privacy Policy is to provide information on the processing of personal data in accordance with the European Parliament and Council Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR).
During registration and website usage, we record the following personal data: - Name: User identification, contact. - Email address: Contact, system notifications, password reset. - Phone number: Quick communication between players for organizing matches. - Profile picture (optional): Improving user experience. The system may automatically record the start and end time of the user's visit, and in some cases—depending on the user's computer settings—the browser and operating system type. The system automatically generates statistical data from this information.
The legal basis for data processing is the data subject's consent pursuant to Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR, and the performance of a contract (provision of service) pursuant to point (b). The purpose of data processing is to operate the Championship's IT system, support users in finding each other and organizing matches, and provide the technical background for competition organization.
The Controller treats personal data confidentially and does not transfer it to third parties unless required by law or strictly necessary for the performance of the service (e.g., hosting provider). The Controller ensures data security against unauthorized access, alteration, transmission, disclosure, deletion, or destruction through appropriate IT, technical, and organizational measures.
Users can exercise their enforcement rights in court or request assistance from the National Authority for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (NAIH) regarding any personal data issues.
